Nova Terra Kitchen, Creamery and Provisions is located inside the Calistoga Depot. We are 100% Plant Based. Our provisions retail shop is a thoughtfully curated collection of local and global artisans with an emphasis on sustainable brands.
We’re looking for an individual who wants to be of service and enjoys interacting with guests to ensure that they have an enjoyable experience. It is imperative that our team member will take the initiative to learn about our vendors and offerings in order to be of better service to our guests.
We are looking for full time (hours below)
Monday and Thursday - 2PM - 10PM
Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 3PM - 11PM
Closed Tuesday and Wednesday
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for covering both cafe and retail area as needed.
RETAIL
Getting guests and providing a positive guest experience.
Assisting guests in finding and choosing products
Have knowledge of artisan’s stories, product features and how to cross promote/sell.
Processing guest transactions including cash handling and operating point of sale systems.
Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
Monitoring inventory levels. Checking in and tagging inventory.
Meeting sales targets and goals.
Collaborating with team members to ensure authentic guest experience and achieve sales objectives.
BARISTA | CASHIER
Basic knowledge of coffee service and our vendors.
Prepare coffee and other drink offerings.
Ring up deli and bakery case items.
Ensure cafe area is clean and organized
